The days of hiding corporate hate, racism, hostility, discrimination, intimidation, bullying and indiscriminately ruining people’s lives are over. It's time to tell the truth and for justice to prevail.
Today is the day I finally published my husband’s story regarding Sam Swope Auto Group on the Ripoff Report. It took quite a bit of time to put it together due to the fact that I couldn’t place the entire story with all the details on there (it would be too much). The fact of the matter is when you’re so intimately involved with something, it seems like every detail is important. At any rate, I only chose those things I felt were the most important and submitted it.
What happened to my husband and our family was terrible. Yet, I know that other people must be on the receiving end of this type of treatment, as well. Yes, one of the goals of my blog is to ensure that what was done to my husband is exposed and that the Hispanic community and other communities throughout the United States and the world hold these people accountable — but I also have another goal. I want to raise awareness at the grassroots level. This is where all SUCCESSFUL campaigns start… by capturing the hearts and minds of people who care about others and are part of the global community of real leaders willing to speak out. And when the citizens of the world come knocking on your proverbial doors via regular mail, email, telephone, fax, Facebook, Twitter, etc. it’s going to get your attention. It’s going to put the pressure on those corporations and individuals who are polishing their images in the community and online, but committing heinous acts in the shadows where no one sees or knows about it.
JUST ONE successful social media campaign not only raises awareness, but it emboldens others who are silently enduring this type of treatment to speak up. We want to give those who are hurting — those who feel no one cares and they don’t have a voice — a road map to follow, to help them shine a light in the dark places. We also want to put a warning shot across the bow of the purveyors of hate, racism, discrimination and corporate bullying and intimidation that their days of indiscriminately ruining people’s lives and taking away their livelihoods are over. There will be no more hiding what they’ve done because we’ll be more than happy to expose it to the eyes of the world.
But we need help — we need YOUR help. We need you to call, write, post and tell your friends about this website. We MUST, as Americans — no matter what our color, race, or country of origin — shine the light on racism and discrimination wherever it is happening and expose those behind it. So many people don’t say or do anything, thinking they will just put it behind them. I call it the ‘culture of silence’ — and it almost always benefits large corporations. However, it doesn’t just go away. Those who just leave quietly are just leaving a vacuum, a deep hole, into which the next person who comes along will fall. You are enabling evil people to do this to someone else. I just cannot do that. And I am asking you to not allow that to happen, either.
Evil, if left alone and unexposed, thrives and flourishes. Public bad behavior requires a public response. Exposing this type of behavior publicly DOES shame people… and rightfully so. Public exposure makes rich people uncomfortable — not to mention accountable – and it makes OTHER racists, bigots and haters think twice about doing it for fear of being exposed and becoming social pariahs.
